1. Who we are

Blue Maple Learn (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides online education, training programs, digital downloads, and private community access related to artificial intelligence and automation.

  • visit our website (bluemaplelearn.ca),
  • purchase a product or service,
  • contact us,
  • join our private community (for example, Discord),
  • receive access to our learning materials.

If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Site or submit personal information to us.

You can contact us at:
Email: support@bluemaplelearn.ca

When you interact with us, you may give us:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Billing information (for example: address, country/region)
  • Order number / transaction details
  • Messages you send us (support requests, refund requests, pre-sales questions)
  • Discord username / handle for community access
  • Any screenshots, attachments, or screen recordings you send for support

If you contact us about billing, we may also receive:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Dispute / refund details
  • Payment method used (e.g. PayPal, card via processor)

We do not see or store full card numbers. Payment information is handled securely by our payment processors.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you browse our website, certain data may be collected automatically for security, analytics, or performance:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type
  • Pages viewed and time spent
  • Referring URL (where you came from)
  • Approximate location (city / region level, not precise GPS)
  • Actions such as clicks on buttons (“Buy Now”, “Join”, etc.)

This is standard website behavior and helps us understand site performance, improve the user experience, prevent abuse, and protect against fraud.

2.3 Community / Course activity

If you join the community or course spaces, we may see:

  • Your Discord handle and role
  • Which plan you own (to assign correct access)
  • Questions you ask in support channels
  • Messages you post in shared spaces

We may keep internal notes about access status (for example, “role assigned on [date]”, or “refund requested on [date]”).

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  1. Provide access
    • Give you access to the course(s), bundle(s), and community you paid for.
    • Assign the correct role or permission level.
  2. Process payments and orders
    • Confirm your purchase.
    • Send receipts or order confirmations.
  3. Customer support
    • Answer questions about access, billing, technical issues, refunds, or upgrades.
    • Help you recover access if there’s a login issue.
  4. Service improvements
    • Improve our content, curriculum, and user experience.
    • Understand what lessons, templates, and workflows people actually use.
  5. Security and fraud prevention
    • Detect and prevent suspicious, abusive, or fraudulent behavior.
    • Respond to disputes and chargebacks.
    • Verify that access isn’t being illegally shared, resold, or leaked.
  6. Legal / compliance
    • Keep records that may be required for tax, accounting, and payment processor compliance (for example: PayPal, Stripe).
    • Enforce our Terms & Conditions and refund policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Legal basis for processing (for EU/EEA, UK and similar jurisdictions)

Where required by law, we process your personal data on one or more of these legal bases:

  • Contract: We need certain data (like your email and order info) to deliver the product you purchased.
  • Legitimate interest: We protect our platform against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized sharing.
  • Legal obligation: We may be required to keep basic transaction records for tax, compliance, or dispute resolution.
  • Consent: For optional marketing emails or newsletters, we only send them if you gave us permission. You can withdraw consent at any time.

5. How we share your information

We may share limited data with trusted third parties, but only when necessary to run the service.

Examples:

  1. Payment processors
To process transactions, verify payments, handle refunds, and respond to disputes/chargebacks.
  2. Email / messaging providers
To send you purchase confirmations, access instructions, or important service and policy updates.
  3. Community platforms / access control
To grant you a role inside a private community (for example, Discord), we may share or match your email, username, and plan level. This is only to confirm “yes, this user paid for access.”
  4. Analytics / security services
To monitor site performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and protect against abuse (for example: repeated unauthorized login attempts).
  5. Legal / compliance
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, court order, tax authority, or payment processor investigation, or to enforce our Terms & Conditions.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their own marketing.

6. Cookies and tracking technologies

Our site may use cookies or similar technologies to:

  • keep you logged in,
  • remember preferences (language, region),
  • measure traffic and performance,
  • protect against fraud and abuse,
  • understand which pages or offers are most viewed.

You can usually control cookies through your browser settings (block, limit, delete).
Blocking some cookies may affect site functionality.

A dedicated “Cookie Policy” page will describe this in more detail, including types of cookies and how to manage them.

7. Data retention (how long we keep data)

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including:

  • Order / billing / invoice records: we may need to keep these for tax, accounting, anti-fraud, and legal compliance.
  • Support communications: we may keep history of support messages to understand previous issues and protect ourselves in disputes.
  • Community access records: we may keep a note of who had access to which program and when, in case of future access restoration or conflict.

When data is no longer needed for legal, financial, security, or operational reasons, we will delete it or anonymize it.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you,
  • correct inaccurate personal data,
  • request deletion of certain data,
  • object to certain types of processing,
  • request a copy of your data in a portable format,
  • withdraw consent (for example, unsubscribe from optional marketing emails).

To exercise these rights, contact us at support@bluemaplelearn.ca.
We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request, for security.

Note: We may retain certain data when we have a legal obligation (for example, invoice records) or a legitimate interest (for example, preventing fraud and abuse).

9. Protecting your information

We take reasonable and commercially standard measures to protect your information, including:

  • limiting internal access to customer data,
  • restricting access to billing information,
  • monitoring suspicious activity,
  • removing community access for accounts believed to be compromised or resold,
  • cooperating with payment processors on fraud prevention.

However, no method of transmission or storage on the internet is 100% secure.
By using the Site, you understand that no platform can guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for:

  • choosing a strong password,
  • keeping your login credentials private,
  • telling us quickly if you believe someone else is using your access.

10. Children’s privacy

Our Services are not designed for children.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18 years old.
If you believe a minor has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate action, including deletion if required.

11. International transfers

We may store or process data in different locations (for example, servers, payment processors, or service providers based in other countries).
By using the Site, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data protection laws.

When required, we use reasonable safeguards to protect these transfers (for example, working with service providers who apply industry-standard security).

12. Links to other platforms

Our Site and training may reference or link to external tools, platforms, communities, or services (for example: Discord, AI tools, automation tools).

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites or services.
We recommend you review their privacy policies before sharing personal data with them.

13. Updates to this Privacy Policy

  • our Services,
  • the tools we use,
